MYAGRI participated in the MPOB Saratok, Sarawak on the 1^st March 2010. The event, organised by MPOB aimed at providing assistance to oil palm smallholders. Help was offered by the Minister of Farming and Commodity, Tan Sri Benard Dompok after the opening ceremony which was attended by over 600 smallholders. He hopes that smallholders will obtain the certificate enforced by the ‘Rundingan Meja Bulat Minyak Sawit Mapan’ (RSPO) in order to increase Malaysia’s competitiveness in the global market by producing good quality palm oil. The president of MPOB, Dato’ Sabri Ahmad and Datuk Dr Mohd Basri Wahid were also present at the ceremony.
